About
Together with Three Mobile, Samsung we launched the world’s first ‘Connected Restaurant’. A restaurant that was split between two cities, with one half in Dublin, Ireland and the other in Sydney, Australia.
Combining the latest Samsung technology with Three’s high-speed network, the two halves of the table were seamlessly connected across 17,000km, bringing friends and family together at a time when they felt a sense of separation most.
We designed and built two identical restaurants and as the meal of culinary delights unfolded, guests were entertained by their hosts, party games and each other. There was also a snow globe that when picked up and shook, made it physically snow on the opposite side of the table. The dinner ended with a photo moment that joined the families together for a unique group portrait of them together at Christmas.
