About
Since 1973, Pacha has been the cultural and electronic music icon of Ibiza. We were invited to bring some innovative magic and visually arresting content to the 2024 season and beyond. The main entrance now welcomes guests with a polyhedron structure built from two-way mirrored glass. This allows for dynamic lighting and the iconic Pacha cherries to be seen infinitely reflecting inside. For VIPs, a 15,000 pixel wide LED screen runs through a winding mirrored entrance tunnel. A galaxy, of bioluminescent particles rendered in real time, all reacting to the music In the main club area, the ceiling of hexagonal kinetic displays tile back to find a vast curved LED display. For this screen, we created a library of 3D real time rendered scenes – deep screen anamorphic effects, audio reactive geometry and animations driven by the famous podium dancers. When VJs play video content out of the hexagonal displays, their content is virtually mapped upon our 3D scenes. This unique approach to live visual content is a first of its kind and brings Pacha a wealth of content variety. Full behind the scenes below
