About
Launched in November 2015, the Mall Of Scandinavia was the largest shopping centre in Northern Europe. The architecture of the building has many artistic LED lighting arrays which needed not only sequences but an overarching concept to them. The arrays included a huge main entrance with lights in the ceiling and floor next to a giant illuminating 'M', vast cracks that surround the entire facade of the building that spill light from within, a side entrance with suspended LED strips and a grand internal installation known as the DEX ceiling.
Working alongside my B-Reel colleagues in Stockholm, I created animation that worked in harmony together throughout the mall. Motion and colour that reflected seasonal change, the northern lights and special events such as Christmas, New Years and football tournaments in the nearby stadium.
