The McLaren P1 was the first commercially available concept car from the British company since the McLaren F1 and was strictly limited to only 375 units.
The car was born out of aerodynamic research and it was our job to realise that in an engaging way. We created an interactive film that showcased the various components forming from an ever evolving material and literally being sculpted by air streams. The material starts life as nothing more than light streaks, it then gains mass and transforms into metal, rock and finally carbon fibre. It is in this state that the P1 is finally revealed.
